    Dr. Colm Scanlon

    Veterinarian - Dr. Colm Scanlon is originally from Ireland, having emigrated to the United States in 1992. Before completing his veterinary training in England, at the Liverpool University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Scanlon enjoyed a successful career in research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he co-authored numerous papers and abstracts. After graduation, Dr. Scanlon began his veterinary career in small animal practice, where he has taken a particular interest in dermatology, ophthalmology, and general medicine. Dr. Scanlon's veterinary career has now brought him to Leicester as the new owner of Leicester Veterinary Clinic, LLC. Dr. Scanlon's purchase of Leicester Veterinary Clinic, LLC comes as a result of the decision by Dr. George Yancey to sell his practice after a very successful and devoted career serving the immediate community of Leicester for the past 30 years.

    Dr. George M. Yancey

    Veterinarian - Dr. George M. Yancey founded the Leicester Animal Clinic in 1971. Dr. Yancey received his undergraduate degree in biology from Virginia Union University, Richmond Virginia and from Tuskegee University in Alabama earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
